According to forex traders, investors remained cautious ahead of the tariff deadline (Aug 27) and the upcoming US economic data before the all-important Federal Reserve meeting on September 17, 2025.
The rupee opened positively at 87.38 at the interbank foreign exchange market, touched an intraday high of 87.34 and a low of 87.61 before settling at 87.58.
